The SOLARSPLIT online solar study is open
17 August 2026 · SOLARSPLIT
It had been in preparation for several weeks, and it is now online: the SOLARSPLIT solar study lets any owner discover their roof’s potential directly from their browser, free of charge.
What the study does
You enter your address, and the analysis draws on public data from the federal register of buildings and on the solar irradiation measured at your coordinates. In about two minutes, you get an estimate of your roof’s usable area, expected production, potential savings, and applicable subsidies.
No ten-page form, no mandatory appointment: address first, results next.

What happens next
The online estimate is the starting point. For those who want to go further, an advisor builds the detailed simulation over the phone, and the journey then moves on: technical visit within two weeks, call for tenders among the installers in the network, offers compared and scored, electronic signature. The full sequence is described in how a solar project unfolds.
Who it is for
The study covers French-speaking Switzerland, for owners of houses and apartment buildings alike. And in an apartment building, solar can be shared with the occupants through a self-consumption community (RCPv): see RCPv in an apartment building.
Trying it with your address is the best way to find out what your roof is worth.
And your roof, what is it worth?
The simulation is free and online, based on your building's public data.
